DESCRIPTION:

The Dark Ruins is a 2D Top-down game based on the arcade game "Journey of the Prairie king" from Stardew Valley. Upon playing the game, I decided to challenge myself by re-creating it into my own style which in turn resulted in this finished product. All assets can be found here on the itch.io website. You play as a girl who has explored too deeply into the lost ruins of her village and there...she finds some creepy creatures who aren't out there for her good. Test your simple arcade skills and see how long you can last against your friends!
